Dr. Emil is a robot scientist from Switzerland who created Denkou. He has a large laboratory, located in the Swiss mountains, with numerous other researchers and lab assistants. He only appears in the 2003 series, in episodes 4 and 48.
Appearance[]
Dr. Emil is a tall, bespectacled European man in his 40s. His most prominent features are his an arched nose and combed-back black hair that sits as two points atop his head. Likewise, he has a black mustache and beard along his jawline. He most often wears suits or laboratory gear.
Personality[]
Not much else is known about Dr. Emil, other than how he is very polite and intelligent. He cares greatly about Denkou and regards them as his greatest creation.
Story[]
Dr. Emil and Denkou at home
Six months before the events of "Into Thin Air", Dr. Emil finishes constructing Denkou. Unfortunately, Skunk Kusai breaks into Emil's lab shortly after, and steals them. During the following six months, Emil remains vigilant in looking for his missing robot child. He is elated to meet Professor Ochanomizu when the latter contacts him about Denkou's wherabouts.
In episode 48, he is briefly seen watching Astro's speech on TV at his home, with with Denkou, implying that he is now raising them as his own child.
