Kobunsha is a Japanese publishing company which, since 1945, has published literature, manga and women's magazines.
It is, perhaps, most well known as the publisher of Shonen magazine, which ran from 1945 to 1968 and was the original home to the Astro Boy manga series.
Kobunsha is currently part of the Kodansha publishing group.
