Notes [ ]
Each episode of the anime adapts one volume of the manga.
Pluto greatly expands on the other 6 robots targeted by Pluto, who were treated as minor characters who barely even knew each other in most iterations of the story.
Gesicht is the main, or at least most recurring protagonist in the manga instead of Astro.
Montblanc was already dead by the time the story began. In the original story, Montblanc talks with Pluto before he is destroyed.
North #2 has his own story and his master is given a lot more background.
Brando is a lot nicer and has a wife and kids.
Hercules is killed before Gesicht.
Epsilon loses his head instead of exploding.
Aside from Montblanc and North #2, all the robots are much more human-like. Although, Brando and Hercules have less humanoid suits they battle in.
In addition to the robots being destroyed, several humans are killed too.
Abullah and Goji are two separate personalities of a human turned robot instead two aliases of the same robot.
