Sankei Shimbun (short for Sangyõ Keizai Shinbun) is a Japanese daily newspaper in first published in 1882. It is affiliated with the Fujisankei Communications Group, which owns Fuji Television.
From January 24, 1967 through February 28, 1969, the Sankei published a daily serialization of Astro Boy manga tales, collectively referred to as the Astro Boy Chronicles. All told there were 18 Astro Boy arcs published, as well as a single 1968 New Year's day special one-shot.
